Clare Gladding of Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire has vivid memories of drawing and sketching with her father at age 4, and grew up with a passion for art. "My parents always encouraged my art throughout the years and I was very rarely without a pencil or some charcoal in my hand," she says. In 2003, she discovered polymer clay and now prefers Prosculpt over a wire armatureto make her 7.5" tall fairies. This 28-year-old mother of two toddlers has since been making her completely hand-mae fairies full-tme for the past nine months. She sells her fairies as Fairytasia for £150/$280 to £500/$930. "All the years of two dimensional art suddenly became a good grounding for this newly found three dimensional art form and I am hooked, "she says. Not a single day passes where I'm not either sculpting or dreaming up my next piece."
