From a very early age, I have always been into one form of art or another. My first influence was my father who encouraged me to sketch and paint when I was as young as four. My mother was the one who would sew and make teddy bears so I was very lucky I guess!
As time passed, my passion for all things mythical and magical grew and I would sketch the creatures and beings that filled up my buzzing imagination. Yet it
wasn't until March 2003 when I sumbled upon polymer clay that I even
knew I could sculpt. My first attempts were unbelievably bad but I was hooked from that moment on. Until then all my artwork was two dimensional.
Sculpting has become my life and is now my full time occupation.
I work from home in my wonderful studio surrounded by beautiful
countryside. I have so much to learn and am always trying out
new clays and techniques and hope the energy I transfer into
each and every new piece is 'felt' by it's new owner.
LIFE INSPIRES ME. I LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERY TIME I PICK UP THE CLAY AND I LOOK FORWARD TO EACH NEW CREATION! :o)
